Eligibility Criteria of DAAD STIBET Scholarship 2026
To be eligible for the DAAD STIBET I Scholarship, one should have the following requirements:
- Have an enrolment status of a degree-seeking student in RWTH Aachen University for not less than two semesters.
- Keep working at RWTH until at least December 2026.
- Possess a university entrance qualification that was not acquired in Germany.
- Not holding German citizenship.
- Spend the entire scholarship time in Germany; the scholarship does not include study abroad or international internship.
- Do not receive any other scholarships during the period of receiving the funds.
- Earn less than EUR 248 per month. An income that exceeds EUR556 can decrease the amount of the scholarship.
- Ensure excellent to good performance at school.
- Recognize cultural competence and have a good mastery of both German and English.
- Give a written record of engagement in two or more intercultural events at RW Barnabas Health, like student events or the BeBuddy Program.

- It is the responsibility of the International Office to be informed by the applicants of any change in their personal or financial conditions.

- The judgments will be pronounced in April 2026, and the financing will begin in July 2026.
